This is me in a field of Red Willow. I am wearing orange because it is deer hunting season. This beautiful field of Red Willow gave a nice harvest. |

Here a friend strips the bark with his jackknife. We put a sheet down to catch the bark and notice that the knife is straight up not at an angle so only the bark is removed. This is so knife does not dig into the pith. |
